Stuart Felman decided to go into the Custom
Clothing business after having some suits made for himself in Hong Kong. He was so
impressed with the quality and the price that he never forgot how good the suits were. In
1966, after he retired form the Insurance business, he decided to open his first Hong Kong
Custom Tailors in Philadelphia (his home at the time). He bought the workroom in Hong Kong
and opened STUART FELMAN'S CUSTOM TAILORS in Center City, Philadelphia. The business
became so successful that in 1982 STUART FELMAN'S CUSTOM TAILORS opened a new shop in
Beverly Hills.
Stuart Felman has the world's largest collection of
Antique Silver Shaving Mugs and is also a well-known collector of Antique English
Blue Willow China, Antique Hotel Tap Bells, and Children's Baby Spoons.
STUART FELMAN'S CUSTOM TAILORS has been reviewed by several consumer reporters
from Los Angeles television stations, including most recently: KCBS, KCAL, and KTLA, as
one of the best deals in Southern California. Stuart Felman has also been interviewed by
various radio stations in the Los Angeles area. |
